A Community of Love

Holding and supporting bereaved families

Established in 2022, A Community of Love seeks to support families and the professionals involved at the time of, and following, a pediatric death event.

The work of our community is threefold:

Comfort

Our flagship program, August's Boxes, provides memory-making opportunities and resources for a family grieving the loss of their child.

Coaching

We provide materials, equipment, and training for healthcare professionals, law enforcement, and medical examiners. 

Connection

Through events and activities we host or participate in, we engage with initiatives that share our mission of pediatric bereavement support.
